Jackson Square Aviation Secures PDP & Sale Leaseback for Two Boeing 787-8 Aircraft with Air EuropaSAN FRANCISCO, CA, July 1, 2015
San Francisco, CA – July 1, 2015 – Jackson Square Aviation (JSA), a full-service aircraft leasing company based in San Francisco, is pleased to announce that it has secured sale and leaseback financing to deliver two Boeing 787-8 aircraft to Air Europa in 2017. In connection with this financing, JSA and Air Europa have entered into a pre-delivery payment financing facility (PDP Facility).
"We are very pleased to initiate a relationship with JSA over the financing of these two widebody aircraft and of their pre-delivery payments," said Juan José Hidalgo, the Chairman of the Globalia tourism group, a parent company of Air Europa. "This financing directly supports our strategy to further develop Air Europa's presence on long haul markets, notably in South America. "

Air Europa operates a fleet of 53 aircraft, comprising fourteen Airbus A330s, twenty Boeing 737-800s, a single Boeing 787-8 aircraft leased from LOT, eleven Embraer 195 regional jets, one ERJ-145 and six ATR 72 turboprops. The carrier has orders for eight 787-8, fourteen 787-9 as well as eight 737-800 aircraft.
