Jackson Square Aviation Announces Two Airbus A330-300 Deliveries to Malaysia AirlinesSan Francisco, June 28, 2011
San Francisco, June 28, 2011 – Jackson Square Aviation (JSA), a full-service aircraft leasing company based in San Francisco, announced the delivery of two Airbus A330-300 aircraft to Malaysia Airlines, in connection with long-term operating leases. The aircraft were delivered on June 10th and June 25th, 2011.
Financing for both aircraft was provided by Apple Bank for Savings and Bayerische Landesbank. Clifford Chance served as legal advisor to JSA, and Norton Rose served as legal advisor to Malaysia Airlines.

"This A330-300 delivery is part of our current fleet renewal initiative to support the increased focus on our medium haul international operations covering the Asia Pacific region. The timely addition of the aircraft into our fleet also enables more of our customers to enjoy enhanced travel experience with us on these routes," said Malaysia Airlines Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Tengku Dato Sri Azmil Zahruddin.
"By the time we complete our fleet renewal exercise in 2015, Malaysia Airlines will have one of the youngest fleet in the region with lower fuel and maintenance costs as well as higher aircraft utilization that will contribute towards better profitability," he added.
